Welcome to Moscow's Community Page

Moscow, Kansas is a very small town that is located in the Southwest corner of the state. The county it is located in is Stevens county. The population of Moscow is around three hundred people.

The town of Moscow consists of grain elevators (which most towns in Southwest Kansas do), there are two churches and a few small businesses.

Not many things happen in Moscow but when they do they are either related to the school or the churches. There are lots of ballgames and many programs which are a lot of fun.

The Moscow school is very very small, but sometimes smaller is better. It consists of about 150 students K-12. We play the most common sports that small schools have which are volleyball, football, basketball, track, baseball, and softball. There are many other activities that go on like: school play, quiz bowl, speech, and so on.

The Moscow ecnomy mostly consists of farming. There are many crops grown in Southwest Kansas, for example, corn, sunflowers, milo, alfalfa and cotton, which is becoming a new crop to the area. Other big economy factors are cattle, swine, and oil and gas industries.
