Andre was born in Molien, France in May 29, 1946 to two parents that were both over 6 feet tall. His Bulgarian Grandfather was a very tall man also who height topped out about 7'8". Andre suffered from Acromegaly, which means that his hormones were out of control. He came to America in 1971. Well Andre height seems somehow less critical to the effect he creates than do his width and thickness. This man seems impossible to be beaten as you all know that wrestling is all just a bumnch of role playing back in his day it wasn't as fake as it is today. Andre was a real loving man he wasn't as violent as he seemed to be he was carring and loving. In my mind i would like fo all of you to know that he is possible the greatest wrestler in his time.
