Most People know that any rock band usually will perform together at least to even record a demo; so then why not put on an awesome performance while they are at it? The Rock Show is one of the most important requirements for a band to make their fame and fortune. If you can put on a show that people will go crazy for then it will have its rewards later on. Depending on what step a band is on, each different show that goes well more than likely will eventually get better and better... now occasionaly their will always be that one concert where it rains, your instrument breaks into pieces, fans just are not showing up, and then the band is mad at each other. Other wise the good shows are pleasing if they are just playing music that the band and the people enjoy. The main objective of a concert is for the fans, if the fans are happy then all is well. Internal problems with the band at a concert can be disasterous, if the band is not getting along but can still play music together, no-one will notice any problems unless action is taken from a band member that might leave or go on a frenzy tearing up equipment during a song. Though it may seem fun to the audience for a while, the show may have trouble continuing on without sound equipment or a musician and this is not a good thing for a show.

On a better note...for the band, the show can take lots of planning depending on how well it wants to be performed or "done up", if the band is famous, planning can be made a lot easier in just figuring out where to avoid the pyro-technics on stage and off and playing well with lots of energy. These bands also have loading crues to come set up all sound systems and technicians to be sure all electric things are working in top condition to ensure the best sound will be availible. Shows like this will draw a crowd usually and seating and backstage areas will be run by proffesional coordinators who run a tight-ship.
