John Franklin Candy, was born on the very cold day of October 31st, 1950-in Toronto, Canada. On that cold day though, was a man who would come to warm the hearts of many, and revolutionize what comedy should be.

John became interested in acting at a very early age acting around his home. In the early 70's he had small roles on such projects as "Coming Up Rosie", and "Dr.Zonk and the Zonkins." At the age of 25- himself Eugene levy, Martin Short, and a handfl of oher today-known actors created sctv.
