~*Dr. Seuss' Books*~

For years, Dr. Seuss' books have delighted young and old alike. Dr. Seuss' first children's book was and to think that I saw it on mulberry street. This book was written in 1936. In 1955, in an effort to promote literacy among school children. Before his death in September 1991. There were alot of kids that learned from Dr. Seuss' books. There were also very exciting to little kids and even grow ups.

They had Read Across America Day. This was were they would read a book to little kids to represent his birthday. About everytime he wrote a book and would put it up for sell, he would sell about 200 million copies of each. Of course some more than others. When he wrote his books they came in 20 languages. He was very well known also by his pen name. Some of his books were rejected by 28 publishers. And then it finally found a home at Random house.
