Dale Earnhardt Jr started racing at the age of 17 competing in the street stock divison at at Concord Motorsport Park.His first race car was a monte carlo that co-owened with a guy name Kerry. Within two seasons the young Earonhardt had honed his driving abilities to the point of joining the model stock car division where he devesloped an in-depth knowledge of chassis setup and car preparation While at times racing against Kerry Earnhardt and their sister kelly.

Dale Earnhardt was a 49 year old nasscar driver who was born on Apirl 29,1951.There was nodout in Earnhardt's mind about what he wanted to be in life.His father also was a driver as a young boy he watched his father race in the stockcar events throughout the southeast,Dale developed the love for the sport.In his late teens Dale begun racing hobby-class cars in and was working full time by welding and mounting tires and either racing or working on his cars by night.Also in 1973 his father Ralph Earnhardt died of heart failure. He is also dead now he died on February 18,2001.

Jeff Gordon another famous race driver was born on August 4,1971 in Vallejo,California.Jeff was only four when he drove his first car which was an a the quarter midget class.He competed in this divison until the age of 10 when he started racing go-karts which he raced until the age of 13 when he made the move up to racing a sprit car.Gordon continued to race in the sprit division and in 1987 Jeff raced with the world outlaws before he went to USAC the following year.The next step Jeff Gordon made was the transition from racing on dirt to racing on pavement.

Richard Petty a famous nasscar driver who won the most races than any other.They called him the king he is the second-generation race car driver in his family as he pursued the same path that his father Lee had.Later Richard's own son kyle and his generation adam would both also eventally follow suit and become the third and fourth generation drivers in th famous Petty family.Respected by other drivers and fans alike Richard was chosen to win the most popular driver award an incridible nine times in his racing career.
