The Blue Devils and Coach K were back knocking at the door of another National Championship.
Duke piled up a 28-6 overall record won the National Title game by 20 points,captured its fifth straight
regional championship.They won ACC regular season and tournament crowns equalled the school record to that point
for conference wins with 14,and most impressively,maintained the nations No.1 ranking throughout the entire season.
On the court Coach K has averaged nearly 25 wins a season during his career at Duke and nearly 29 wins per year
overthe last 15 seasons. He directed his teams to seven straight trips to the round of 16 from 1986-92 and joined
john wooden as the only coach to guide a team to the Final Four five consecutive years.
