Uses of Weapons

The uses of weapons have pretty much been covered, but I think I will explain myself a lttle further. The siege weapons which consisted of the catapults and also battering rams were used to storm castles this was done by either taking the batteringram and beating the front gate. The catapults were used to either take weak spots in the wall out or just to kill people on the inside of the castle or fort.

There were the hand held weapons that were pretty much used by infantry and knights. The flail and the maces were used to either bash in an opponents armor or you could use it to kill them by hitting another infantry man.

The swords and spears were meant to slice and stab the opponent. The opponents were either stabbed by the spear or sliced by the sword. Both of the weapons were good because they had some reach to them.

Crossbows and bows were some what of a light artillary. They could stand a ways from their target and shower it with arrows ar take out waves of on coming soldiers. As I am sure you have seen in movies.
