Aaliyah died In Agust 25,2001 in a plane crash in las Bahamas. She was only 21 years old whent that happend. The family's statement said it was devastated at the loss of their loving daugther and sister. Their hearts go out to those families who lost their loved ones in this tragetic accident. It all started whent Aaliyah whent to the Bahamas to film her "Rock the Boat" video which was completed on Saturday 25th Agust and on that Saturday , Aaliyah left the Bahamas with 8 other people and boarded the Cessna 402 departing from the Marsh harbour airport bound for Opa-locka, florida. the plane was leaving Masrch Harbour airport around 6:50 p.m whent it crash the plane was crash approximately 200 feet from the end of the runway killing six people instantly. three other people died later because of the injuries. The plane was crash because there was to much baggage. Here are the Victims according to the investigation:
