

About 88% of students are involved in some type of recreation and as many as 4,800 people go to the recreation complex. The Chester E. Peters Recreation Complex includes: 14 raquet-ball & handball courts, 2 squash courts, gyms with 10 basketball courts, a weight/fitness area, treadmill-style rock climbing wall, locker rooms, saunas, 2 indoor running tracks, a combatives area, a circuit machine/stretching area, 20 acres of field space (that is lighted for night play), 10 tennis courts, a basketball court, horse shoe pits, and a fitness cluster with walking and running trails, canoes, fishing boats, tents, sleeping bags, and other outdoor equipment that can be rented.
The natatorium is located on campus featuring a pool for lap swimming, a recreation pool, and a diving well. Around 45 thousand people use the natatorium each year. KSU student fees help pay for the recreation activities and by showing your K-State ID you can get in free of charge to the recreation complex and the natatorium.
The complex provides a variety of jobs for students.
