Lisa was born in Philadelphia,Pennsylvana. She was born May 27, 1971. She had one brother and one sister. Her parents names were Ronald Lopes Sr., Wanda Lopes Coleman. Her favorite movie was E.T. As a child, Lisa's ear for music was exhicited by the age of 5. She recieved a toy piano. Lisa learned to play actual songs of the instrument, she enjoyed drawing cartoons for fun. She had a very tough child hood with a alcoholic, abusive father who died on the day she got her first record deal. Two other family members died in accidents while still young. In the past few years, Lopes was singing the praises of healthier lifestyle, after being arrested for the torching og her boyfriend's atlanta mansiion an suvsequently going insto alcohol rehab. She had a rebellious attitude ability to understand the business side of music. She worked with some top manes in the business, including producer Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds.
